Our Mission

The mission of Food Resources Inc. Is to provide food and other donated items at a minimal cost to non-profit organizations throughout the tri-state community to:
   Combat Hunger;
   Help other non-profits and;
   Improve the overall quality of life.

2010 Events:
!!!!!!!!!!! Extreme C&O Canal Ride for Hunger Awareness Raises Funds for over 1 ton of food !!!!!!!!!!! Dan Greenwald and Mike Mittel rode the entire length of the canal -- 184.5 miles-- in one day on July 31st. Why..."There are so many needs in our community and hunger seems to fly under the radar. By doing something most people would consider extreme, Mike and I hope to continue to raise the level of awareness necessary to support Food Resources and its mission."
